Equipped with exterior indicator lights that signal availability and cleaning cycles, the facility is designed to provide a reliable, hygienic, and secure public amenity in a high-traffic area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>City Councilmember Hannah LeGris, whose district includes downtown, noted that the city deliberately waited to adopt a self-cleaning restroom until a proven, reliable solution was available:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s more than just a public space.
